Capcom’s legendary horror-adventure series Resident Evil managed to make its mark this year with its new remake. Now, new information about Resident Evil 9 release date has been leaked.
Resident Evil 9 release date could be 2025
Capcom has begun work on Resident Evil 9, the next installment in the iconic horror franchise. The company, which expanded the popularity of the series with Resident Evil 7 and 8, wants to continue this success with RE9. Accordingly, the new production will be released in 2025.
Dusk Gollem, a well-known name in the gaming world, reported that 2025 could be the potential release date for Resident Evil 9 and that the launch could take place in 2024. Since Capcom has held previous launches in the summer months, we expect the RE9 launch to take place around this June.

One of the most exciting aspects of Resident Evil 9 will be the opportunity to play beloved characters like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy. Both of these characters have appeared in various installments of the series. However, it has been confirmed that Ethan Winters, who starred in Village and Biohazard, will not be in this game.
It’s also rumored that Capcom may embark on a new storyline with a new cast of characters. Still, the details of RE9 are currently unknown.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard marked a significant shift with its first-person perspective and the inclusion of new characters beyond the classic zombies. This success continued with Resident Evil 8: Village, which introduced players to a world inhabited by vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures.
